THERAPY, SUPERVISION, CONSULTATION, TRAINING
I have been in private practice supporting the Wesley Chapel Community since 2014. Prior to private practice, I have worked in a residential rehabilitation agency, group homes, schools and other community agencies to support my surrounding communities. I am passionate about supporting people through life changes such as entering adulthood, parenthood, marriage, new jobs, and geographical moves. I hold certifications in addiction and trauma, and I am a qualified supervisor in the state of Florida.
Together, we will uncover the root causes of any roadblocks hindering your progress and create actionable plans for your success.
I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to this work. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida, followed by a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from National Louis University. With over 20 years in education, I have had the privilege of teaching mathematics, supporting students in overcoming challenges, and providing therapy to help youth thrive in both academic and personal settings.
My career has also involved training thousands of teachers nationwide and collaborating with school and district leaders to implement strategic plans and high-quality instructional materials. These experiences allowed me to broaden my impact. Now, I am shifting my focus to working directly with individuals to facilitate their personal growth and healing.
Using techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy, I help clients analyze and address the root causes of challenges that may be holding them back. My goal is to guide you toward a deeper understanding of yourself, enabling you to move forward with confidence and purpose. Together, we can build the foundation for your next chapter of growth and success.

THERAPY
Walking in your purpose is a deeply personal and unique journey for each of us. Life is a continuous process of growth and evolution, shaped by our individual experiences, some of which may bring unexpected challenges. Therapy provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to explore your emotions and behaviors, empowering you to overcome obstacles, access valuable resources, and thrive in your environment. I believe everyone is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of their own gifts, and through therapy, you can discover how to embrace and walk in your purpose in a healthy and fulfilling way.
Therapy offers an opportunity for healing and personal growth, allowing you to step into the life you were meant to lead.
Sophie Stypelkoski
GRADUATE STUDENT INTERN, THERAPY
I am a masters student in the Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program at the University of South Florida working towards becoming a licensed psychotherapist and rehabilitation counselor. My goal as a therapist is to help individuals feel empowered as the most authentic versions of themselves, and to provide them with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and self-assurance.
My work is deeply rooted in a holistic view of human experiences, ensuring I understand each person’s unique story and tailor my therapeutic practice to the needs and goals of each client I serve. I am extremely mindful and respectful of multicultural perspectives, valuing the dimension of diverse viewpoints they bring to the therapeutic process.
I speak Italian and Spanish and hope to support a diverse range of clients effectively as I continue to grow in my career.
I am originally from Fort Lauderdale, FL and moved to Tampa last year. Outside of my schoolwork and counseling I cherish time spent in nature with my partner, enjoying the company of animals and plants, reflecting my overall approach to life: a deep respect for all living things coupled with a constant curiosity about the world around me.
